CanaSpec® Services

Standard Home Inspection

A home inspection helps provide buyers peace of mind by giving valuable information on the investment they are about to make. The CanaSpec® inspection procedure is a visual examination of a home from the roof down to the foundation. Our inspectors are trained to perform a professional inspection that meets the highest standards in the industry. The Standards of Practice we adhere to are established by the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI) of which CanaSpec® is a member.

Our inspection results are packaged for the client in an attractive, simple to access, three ring binder. The CanaSpec® Commentary is acknowledged by realtors as a professional presentation for home inspection reports. It features comprehensive visual evaluation of the home, a seasonal maintenance checklist and a convenient home maintenance/repair manual.

At CanaSpec®, our inspectors have been through extensive training and are required to participate in continuing education, persistently striving to improve the quality of each inspection conducted. Our inspectors learned the trade through the use of a complete educational training system developed specifically by Carson Dunlop and Associates, one of the most respected names in professional home inspection training.
